Guess Who?

Oh, hello there. I'm still alive, in case you were wondering. Alive and kicking.

Particularly alive because we have study holidays now. So naturally, I'm spending the days watching old melodramatic Japanese movies. Why, you may ask, have I not been blogging?

To begin with, I'm extremely hard-pressed for time. I'm in the tenth grade, you know. And the exams are two weeks away. Therefore, it goes without saying that between making paper planes, Facebooking, watching football matches late at night, falling ill and reading the manga series Vagabond, squeezing in a little blogging can be difficult.

That said, my last post was almost three months ago. Three months is a long time, and despite my various pressing activities, I must make no excuses.

Also, the last thing I want is to let this blog rot here, in this unfashionable end of cyberspace. So, it is from the bottom of my heart that I apologize to my faithful leaders.

A lot of things have happened in three months – the most recent being revision exams. Revision exams are to be taken seriously, our teachers said. And so on the morning of every exam, a nervous buzz would go through our class. We would be discussing, of course, the previous night's Champions League clash.

Before the exams... Well, our last few days of school. Fun, fun. Being extremely enthusiastic when it came to the spirited celebrations on the last day of school, I did what was expected of me. While tearful goodbyes were floating across the rooms, and slambooks were being signed left right and centre, I was spotted somewhere in the vicinity of the last bench, sleeping. Obviously.

And since I've run out of things to write about already (Or : Oh my! The match starts in exactly two minutes! :O ), I will let this post come to a very premature end now. A good way to start off a new era of regular blogging, as I'm sure you'll agree with me.

Yay. An update.
I'm your only reader, by the way. Just saying.
In other news, three more exams left! Next Thursday I will taste freedom!

Speaking of melodramatic Japanese movies have you seen "The Last Samurai"? It is a definite tear jerker.
Incidentally, your recent story incorporating Japanese history was very entertaining!

..didn't mean to appear anonymous...

Yessss, I have seen The Last Samurai! Isn't that the one starring Tom Cruise?

If you're really interested, Suma ammayi, I suggest you watch The Samurai Banner, which is the subtitled version of the Japanese movie, Fuurin Kazan. The climax of the movie is centred around the battle I have written about in that story. :)

Also, don't miss out on Akira Kurosawa's Kagemusha and Ran!

Hey Raman!

I don't know you, you don't know me. I'm Aditya.

There. Now that introductions are done with, I can get around to my point. I think you write really well. Heck, I took one look at your blog, and said to myself, "Hey! Maybe blogging doesn't suck that bad, after all!"

And just like that, I've started blogging again. On a different account, of course. :P You can check it out, but that's beside the point.

Just keep up the writing!
